Divya Wins Silver in Hyderabad Tournament

Divya Kumari, one of the talented students at our Academy, has brought geat pride to our academy by securing Second position in Under 12 Category at the HCA’s 13th Open Rapid & Blitz Chess Tournament. This FIDE-Rated tournament held on 17th'January, 2026 at Dialdas Club, Saddar Lahore. Overall it was an event that brought together many talented young chess players hroughout the region under one roof.

During the event, our young student showed great skillset and sportsmanship, played a total of seven rounds and won 3 against talented players. Her performance earned her a well deserve spot on the podium among the top players of her age group.

We congratulate Divya on her achievement as even participating in such events in itself is an achievement that requires alot of patience, hard work and practice and team GCA is happy to see her efforts rewarded, We wish her all the best for her future chess competitions
