Rumaisa scores 6/7 in the DDCC 2026

The Defence Day Chess Championship was hosted by Hyderabad District Chess Association held on 6th of September, 2026 played under a Swiss System with a time format of 15+0 for each player. There were different categories including Junior, Senior and Girls Category.

One of the impressive performances was delivered by Rumaisa Afif, who competed in U - 18(Boys and Girls combined category). She played really well and finished with 6 out of 7 points.

During the event, the young player faced different competitive opponents including Mantasha Memon, Muhammad Ahmed Memon, Muhammad Azam Khan Durrani, Sabhia, Sohaib, and Aayan Bhatti with her only loss coming from Sohaib in Round 6.

Her score reflects the consistent performance during the event and marks another step in her competitive chess journey.
